How do I find a tutor in my area?
Once you contact us either by phone at 1-949-274-8548 (toll free:
1-866-651-8945), by email, or via the
contact form,
we will immediately speak with you about your specific academic
needs. This includes the subject(s) needed, and the number of
tutoring hours needed per week. Then, we will schedule your appointment(s),
and your professional and experienced tutor will come to YOU!
We have tutors located all over Southern California, so a student's
location is never a problem.

What are your rates?
The hourly tutoring rate is $70/hour. This hourly rate applies
when tutoring is conducted short-term, on a "by-the-hour"
basis. However, the hourly rate can be as low as $55/hour if you
choose to utilize one of our long-term pre-paid
tutoring packages.

When and how do I pay for the lessons?
The tutors cannot
and will not collect any payments while in your home. At the end
of each month Next Level Tutors will send you an invoice both
by mail and email for any tutoring that occurred during the month.
Instead, check or cash payments can be sent by mail to: Next Level
Tutors, LLC. 199 Brandywyne Terrace, Costa Mesa CA, 92627. Alternatively,
secure credit card payments can be made at www.nextleveltutors.com.

Are there any long-term commitment requirements?
There is absolutely
no long-term commitment requirement whatsoever. Whether you decide
to receive tutoring for a single hour or for many hours is entirely
up to you. Longer-term prepaid packages are non-refundable however.

When are your tutors available?
Our tutors are available
in all cities of Southern California 7 days per week, during the
morning, afternoon, or evening hours. We are well aware of the
incredibly busy schedules that students keep, so we are extremely
flexible. Whether the student is involved in after-school sports,
maintains a part-time job, or is practicing for the fall musical,
we WILL be able to accomodate you!

Will the same tutor work with the student each session?
Generally, the student
will be tutored by the SAME instructor for each session scheduled.
This allows the tutor to build a rapport with the student, and
moreover allows the instructor to gain a familiarity of the student's
study habits and utilize the teaching methods that work best for
that student. Of course, switching tutors can be arranged if the
student requires a sudden non-scheduled tutoring session, or if
the student prefers working with another instructor.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations will
be accepted until 6:00pm on the day prior to the scheduled tutoring
session. Cancellations are accepted by phone or by email. In the
event that a refund is necessary, a refund check will be mailed
as soon as the student officially cancels the session. Prepaid
long-term packages may not be cancelled, however.

How can the student be sure that he or she will improve academically?
Tutors employed
by Next Level Tutors are required to login to the tutors area
of this website after each tutoring session. Once logged in, they
write a summary of the instructional hour(s), and they discuss
the improvements and/or setbacks that the student showed during
that particular session. Monitoring the progress of our students
is ESSENTIAL in order for us to make adjustments in the style
and approach that we take with each student. A progress report
of your student is available upon request.

What makes Next Level Tutors different than the other tutoring
agencies?
Next Level Tutors
is different for a variety of reasons. First, our tutors work
exclusively in a one-on-one environment with the student, such
that the tutor's focus is on nobody else. The larger tutoring
agencies usually group several students together with a single
tutor, and this technique has been proven to be less effective.

that we offer by tutoring you in the warmth and comfort of YOUR
own home! That's right. All sessions take place in your home at
a time that works for you. Furthermore, lesson time is spent on
the student's OWN coursework, homework, tests, quizzes, and projects.

Can the student ever "earn" free hours of tutoring?
For every client
referral generated by a current student, Next Level Tutors will
reward the current student with one free hour of tutoring.

Should I tip the tutor after each session?
Tutors are told
NOT to accept any offerings as tips. Please do NOT tip the tutor(s),
as they are already handsomely compensated by Next Level Tutors
for providing their services to students.
